Photogravure sample plates

Each of these is a finished photogravure plate, imaged in our studio and ready to ink. Print one and you’ll see the line detail and tonal range a photogravure plate can hold. Use them to learn and practice inking, wiping and printing in your own studio.

Choose our own Sample Plate #1, or one of three old master prints reproduced at 1:1 scale, so you can pull a print the same size as the original.
